[tab title=”EN”]VALENTINO Valentino’s spring Haute Couture is a collection that freshens up the eye. It is the perfect combination of femininity, power and naturalness. A woman can have as much facets as she wants; she can be crazy, private, powerful and natural. Valentino grants her in this collection, the opportunity of embracing all of her facets. We appreciate clothing with volume worthy of theatrical garment; we appreciate as well a collection full of colors and heterogeneity of designs. Valentino discovered the balance where haute couture finds its place in day-to-day life of women who show their true selves to the world.

While the designer chose to focus in practically two colors, black and white, her creations express an accentuated femininity thanks to the collection’s oneiric backround. Maria Grazia was inspired by Argentinian painter’s, Leonor Fini, surrealistic work; she managed to depict this artistic movement with a mysterious romanticism. Skirts and dresses swung along the runway coming into harmony with the accessories that stole everybody’s hearts: the masks; all this ads up to the right combination of two different types of couture, italian and french. The designer gave the public a show worthy of a burst of applause.

Spring with light and gentle designs, but also with all colors that float around the runway. Each ensemble the designer presents only makes us want spring to come right away. Dresses are without a doubt the most beautiful pieces of all the collection; specially the pink one with a heart-shaped top, and below a long skirt that falls like a waterfall on the model’s legs. Patterns with bohemian and spring motifs are the highlights of Bertrand Guyon’s enchanting collection.

Clothing detail lets appreciate the complexity of the designs and it is, no doubt, a brand that represents creative and dramatic styles in all their glory. Gaultier went for a fresh and fun vibe, playing with saturated colors, and with eye-catching patterns and embroidery. Architectonic cuts and exaggerated accessories draw the spectator’s attention. Fringes were everywhere, in models hairstyle just as in the designs; they were the cherry on top of the cake of this haute couture collection.

The runway show starts with cocktail dresses, that play with the transparency of the fabric and delicate flowers that; in addition, over-the-knee black boots bring a modern touch to the ensembles. Giambattista included in his collection, long and smooth dresses very alike to greek gowns, but he also included dresses with volume, specially the ones reserved for the end of the show. Italian designer’s runway ends magnificently with the 3 last dresses making a statement: volume does not always mean exaggeration and tulle is a must in Haute Couture.
