At the conclusion of the day, guests arrive in the drier plains of Kamloops, in which riders stay overnight in their motel room.
Day 3 of the Rocky Mountaineer Take the train from Kamloops to Banff
As guests travel eastward toward Alberta, they will come across the Canadian Rockies. They will be surrounded by craggy lakeshores, snow-capped mountain summits, and fresh glacial streams while able to taste locally prepared culinary cuisine.
This world-famous lake, known as the “Jewel of the Canadian Rockies,” is one of the most filmed places on the globe. A guided excursion of the countryside between Banff and Lake Louise will be provided by the morning bus. Pass through Yoho National Park, which contains Takakkaw Falls, Kicking Horse Pass, Emerald Lake, and the Natural Rock Bridge, which crosses the Kicking Horse River, after crossing the Continental Divide. For the next two nights, guests will be staying at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. This world-famous lake, known as the “Jewel of the Canadian Rockies,” is one of the most filmed places on the globe.

What a lovely mix of elegance and coziness! These spacious accommodations come with a convertible leather sofa that may be used as a double bed. Guests may also make use of the minibar in their own cabin. The cost of the meal includes all beverages.
Cuisine to die for
Three-course meals are cooked to order onboard the train. Tourists have a choice of three dishes at each meal inside the Dining car. If they have dietary limitations, they can order a tailored meal. Priority eating is given to prestige guests, and guests can dine in their room if they choose to. Guests staying at the Prestige may enjoy free Hors d’oeuvres every day.

A dedicated personal steward will be assigned to each cabin and will gladly help guests with any of their needs while on board, including changing their bedding.
